Food assistance is the corporate cause of the Société des alcools du Québec (SAQ). As such, it has been a loyal partner of Food Banks of Quebec for 15 years. More than $18 million has been raised in the years since.

130 companies and organizations have joined this tremendous effort to ensure the deployment and operationalization of our Supermarket Recovery Program, a unique and sustainable solution to the problems of food waste and food insecurity.
Our 32 independent, regional Moisson- and Associate-members serve nearly 1,300 local community organizations, who handle 2.6 million requests for food assistance every month.
